About Us
'Don" Ramon and Hortensia Pelàez opened the doors of Copacabana in the Pike Place Market in June of 1964.
Named for "Our Lady of Copacabana" shrine in La Paz, Bolivia, the restaurant stood as a symbol of hope and courage for the entire Pelàez family.
The restaurant still remains family-owned and operated, where we continue to create the original friendly atmosphere everyone knows and loves.
